Earth: Final Conflict was a US
science-fiction TV series of the late 1990s/early 2000s. The plot concerned the
arrival on Earth of a race of enigmatic, mystical and outwardly beneficent
aliens, the Taelons, who bestow peace and prosperity upon the world, but have a
sinister secret purpose in store for humanity. Made from a concept by Gene
Rodenberry, the creator of Star Trek, it was unfortunately a rather confused
show, never really deciding what it wanted to be. Still, it managed four decent
seasons; the fifth was a total train wreck, and the series was granted a
merciful cancellation.

The Taelon flag appears in the very first episode, as a Taelon ambassador is
about to arrive for a ceremony in an outdoor plaza. An image is available here, its not very clear, but it bears the aliens' logo, which appears regularly elsewhere in the series.
Here it seems to have been placed on a simple white background. The logo
consists of two horizontal, interwoven brackets, purple (top) and teal (bottom).
Interestingly, the flag has them the other way around, leading one to suspect it
was hoisted upside-down.
